This year she will teach Grade 7 Humanities and Grade 9 English. This is Phil’s fifth year teaching at ISHCMC-AA in the EAL department. Now, he teaches 12th grade English, SUPA Academic Writing, and Model U.N. Originally from Texas, Phil Anderson has been teaching in Vietnam for over 9  years. Megan will be teaching Chemistry and Forensics in her second year at ISHCMC-AA. English Teacher at ISHCMC. She studied chemistry at Boston College and taught in Boston Public Schools for 7 years before moving to Vietnam. She has served in various positions within international education for the last 15 years. With the new ISHCMC Secondary Campus opening in Semester 1 of the 2017/18 academic year, the school is set to break further academic records and boundaries in 21 st century education. She moved to Vietnam six years ago and pursued her goal of becoming by successfully completing her PGCE from the University of Sunderland. Through her experience, she has found that inquiry-based science programs, such as project-based science, significantly increases science concept learning on both lower cognitive level (recall) items and higher cognitive level (transfer and application) items. Her hobbies include cooking, singing and playing gaelic football. When she is not teaching, she enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, surfing and dancing salsa. Justin’s interests include spending time with his family, traveling, weight lifting, money management, and listening to Warren Buffett.
